These savory pancakes are really versatile, you can serve them for breakfast, or for lunch or a late night snack.  We love them with sour cream, or a wonderful mushroom sauce.  I also serve them with crispy fried bacon, now that’s a hard one to resist!! :) Just cut the bacon into bite sized pieces and fry till crispy, drain on paper towels and top the pancakes.   I use my food processor to mix everything, and it makes this task a breeze!

You will need:

4 potatoes

1 onion

3 garlic cloves

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 egg

2 tbs sour cream

2 tbs flour

Put everything in the food processor and process till smooth.

Add a few tbs oil to a pan.

Drop by spoonfuls into the pan, and fry over medium heat till golden brown on both sides.

Serve with whatever sounds good to you! :)

Potato Pancakes (Draniki)
 
 
Ingredients
  • 4 potatoes

      My husband loves them too! :) hmm, sweet potatoes sound interesting, I will have to try them with sweet potatoes sometimes!
